Shri Ramakrishna Rao Kudligi is from the 1991 batch of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of Telangana Cadre. He is presently working as Special Chief Secretary to Government, Finance and Planning Departments, Government of Telangana. The prudent and sustainable management of the State Finances is his responsibility. He has presented all the 10 budgets of the new state made so far and has mobilized resources required for the flagship schemes of the state. He has successfully introduced various Financial Systems in the state leading to enhanced financial control and transparency. In addition, he also holds the charge of State Reorganization Department dealing with all matters related to the formation of the new state of Telangana. He also worked as Director General of Centre for Good Governance (CGG). As DG, he was involved with a number of reform programs mainly based on IT in several states of the country. He has held leadership positions in the fields of Education, Health care and was Collector and District Magistrate of Adilabad and Guntur in united Andhra Pradesh. He holds graduate and master’s degrees in engineering from Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) at Kanpur and Delhi and also a MBA in Investments.
