The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) in partnership with Global Development Network (GDN) invited applications from research teams based in India to act as Doing Research (DR) national coordinators interested in leading Doing Research Assessments (DRA) in India.
Applications from teams based in India interested in leading a DR Assessment in the country, starting in October 2024. The implementation will be done with the financial support of Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) in partnership with GDN.
The DRA is expected to be completed by late 2025, and that results will be featured at the biennial AASSREC conference. A grant of up to $50,000 is set to implement a DRA in India of 15 months, with technical support and advice from GDN’s global Doing Research Assessments.
In this regard, the Centre for Economic and Social Studies applied and got the project granted for doing Social Science research in India.
