Brief Profile

Dr. Junuguru Srinivas currently working as an Associate Professor, Centre for Economics and Social Studies, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Dr. Srinivas Junuguru did his Ph.D. from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He completed his MPhil from the same school. He did his master’s degree with a political science specialization in International Relations at Jawaharlal Nehru University. Dr. Srinivas published a book ‘Future of the BRICS, role of Russia and China, published by the Palgrave Macmillan and he got 500 Euros from the publishing house. Dr. Srinivas received Minor project from ICSSR. He has also received book project from ICWA. He Organized numerous international conferences and national seminars. Dr. Srinivas visited Russia for a field study funded by ICSSR. He attended a Summer School in University of Geneva, Switzerland, funded by Gem-Stones, European Union. He has chaired one session at the University of Geneva (Switzerland) during the summer school. He attended the UNCTAD Summer School 2020 on Globalization and Development Strategies, jointly organized by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Institute of New Economic Thinking and Young Scholars Initiative (YSI) held virtually from August 15-23, 2020. He presented many research papers in national and international seminars and Conferences across the country and continents. Dr. Srinivas published articles in various national, and international UGC, ABDC, Social Science Citation Index and SCOPUS indexed Journals. Further, Dr. Srinivas organized number of Webinars, guest lectures and workshops. Dr. Srinivas was awarded Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), conducted by UGC, 2011. He was also awarded Data Collection Fellowship from ICSSR in 2017.
