Brief Profile
Sreenivasulu is an assistant professor at the CESS. He obtained M.Phil. and Ph.D in Economics from the University of Hyderabad. He was a recipient of the ICSSR Institutional Doctoral Fellowship and qualified for the UGC-NET in December 2006. Currently, he is an academic coordinator in the Division for Graduate Studies at the CESS. He submitted policy documents entitled “Scheduled Tribes in Andhra Pradesh: The Approach to the Twelfth Five-Year Plan” to the Tribal Welfare Department of Andhra Pradesh. He also contributed chapter 12 of the “Welfare of Socially Disadvantaged Groups” approach to the Twelfth Five-Year Plan prepared by the CESS. He was a member of the subcommittee on ‘Tenancy in Agriculture’ of ‘the Commission on Inclusive and Sustainable Agriculture Development in Andhra Pradesh” under the chairmanship of Prof. R. Radhakrishna. He worked as an intern at the Migration Department of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Geneva, Switzerland. He has participated in the Advanced Professional Training on Managing Global Governance Programme(MGG 8), sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, Germany, which was undertaken by the German Development Institute (DIE), Bonn and InWEnt, Germany. Besides this, he also participated in the 7th International Futures Programme at the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany. He has broadened his academic horizons by publishing a book and articles in prestigious journals and presenting papers at professional seminars.
